Robert Shaw Controls What Does The 'A' Wire On My Old Robert Shaw Thermostat Do?

What does the 'A' wire on my old Robert Shaw thermostat do? - robert shaw controls

Replace my old Robert Shaw thermostat (Model: D34020) with a new Honeywell thermostat (RTH7400). The installation manual does not mention a cable connection as "A" and a helpline did not know what it is. The new thermostat has the following ports: C, G, S, O / B, R, W2, Y2 would, AUX, E and L. What management, plug the cable "A" for the new thermostat?

The A could indicate that the administration. I did a search and recommended replacing the 300-series is Robert Shaw. Compare honey production to 300 new RS. Here is the link to read and compare designs. I recommend the monitoring of the cable, the efforts to find the function. Do not do it blindly, can cause problems.
