Best holiday destination for couple for a long weekend in South England? - outdoor activity holidays
To leave my friend and I live in Oxfordshire and is planning to end of April for a long weekend. We go to a Cornwall and Devon, but not familiar with the region. Can someone me a lovely area with beautiful beaches, restaurants and outdoor activities such as quads? Thank you in advance:)

My favorite is St. Ives, Cornwall ... very artistic, has a branch of the Tate Gallery (Modern Art) and the Barbara Hepworth Museum ... very, very picturesque alleys, art galleries, some nice restaurants ... scenic spot (but you need a car to get the most out of it) ... Visit Lands End, Porthcurno with its theater built on the cliffs and the Museum of the telegraph ... Geevor Mining Museum in St Just tin ... beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise seas that will make ... If you can afford and you feel adventurous, traveling by helicopter from Penzance to the Scilly Isles
The area of South Hams, Devon is beautiful ... beautiful beaches, cliffs, good food and outdoor activities, you may want to Dartmoor (only about 45 minutes).
We lived in a beautiful romantic cottage Aveton Giffard. In fact, the cabin is not covered. This is a music room with a bed from the 18th Century on the stage, a fireplace and a film projector! Really road.

On the beaches, the best was found that we Bigbury Bay. When you arrive at low tide, there are many hills to explore. Or you can Burgh Iceland Wade (http://www.essentially-england.com/burgh ...
You will see the beautiful style of the hotel in the 1930s, several films by Agatha Christie. Unfortunately, unless you stay there or there (to eat remember to book early!) You will not see the place where Agatha Christie and Noel Coward once side by side. (Even more had everyone, even the Beatles).
It is apparently still good for asome points of celebrity, although she saw no one. The island is good for a walk and the local pub serves beer very unusual name.
Anywhere else? Dartmouth is a great ... Breakfast and coffee bars, many restaurants on the lookout for interesting views and really nice ..

I recommend Weymouth challenge, great beach, tons of cafes, shops, restaurants and numerous museums and numerous water sports. I really enjoyed it and hope to start soon!

You are not wrong, much of Cornwall, especially Newquey beaches, restaurants, Too.
Sidmouth, Devon is beautiful and the surroundings. I am surprised that it was someone who thought Hastings in Cornwall, Devon!
